Not only are Polywood® shutters a completely recyclable shutter, but they also contain up to 20% recycled Polywood content. We’re the only shutter company in St. George or even the US that does that.

Sunburst supports green design, products, and buildings. We show our commitment by reusing any and all materials whenever we can. We recycle water used to cool components as they come out of ovens. We reuse packaging materials. We reuse shutter pieces – or regrind them and turn them into new shutters. Each year we recycle hundreds of tons of materials.

When we package our window treatments to be transported to your residence for installation, we put reusable corner pieces on the louvers’ edges and use as little cardboard as possible to pack up the shutters.

Our louvered shutters use patented paints that are environmentally safe and hypoallergenic. During our manufacturing process, our paints don’t emit fumes. When we say our paints aren’t toxic, we mean it.
